Do you see color where others see a threat of storm? Does it inspire your art or writing or outlook?
As only yesterday I celebrated Holi,* the Indian Festival of Colors, I thought it was a good opportunity to have it inspire today’s Monday Muse, a quote from India’s first Nobel laureate and scholar/author/artist Rabindranath Tagore. Interestingly, only last week I took this photo and it all seems to bring the same message.

* Holi is a festival that welcomes the spring. Although Holi has religious roots, not much religious activity is involved in its celebration. Holi is the most energetic Indian festival, filled with fun.
Also called “The Festival of Colors,” people celebrate the festival by smearing each other with paint, squirting each other with water guns, and throwing colored powder around in an atmosphere of great good humor.
